Over our 30+ years of History at Erie Gymnastics Center, we've had tons on Newsworthy stories. Whether it was one of our top Team Lightning Athletes taking Gold at the Championships or an "Economic Impact" story about attracting thousands of gymnast to Erie for our annual Stars & Stripes Gymnastics Invitational, we've had our fair share of coverage.
Thirty years ago technology was much different for everyone - including the Media. Back in our infancy 30 years ago, to preserve the story, we cut our Newspaper articles and scrap-booked them in Photo albums. To catch a TV interview or story, we tried to tape it off the news on a VCR.
Looking back now, I wish we would have preserved some of those great stories for "Legacy" and sentimental reasons. At any rate, this page is an attempt to post our most recent Headlines and lionize some of our legendary athletes.
